Coalhurst Elementary

     Chris McIntyre served 4 years as principal of Coalhurst High School.  McIntyre earned his education degree and his master’s degree in education leadership from the University of Lethbridge.  His teaching experience includes teaching English in South Korea. On his return to Alberta, He joined the staff at Amisk School, east of Red Deer, later becoming principal of the small grade 1-8 school.  He went on to lead Alcoma School, A K-9 program, and then the K-12 Duchess School, both near Brooks.

 

      Chris is currently the principal of Coalhurst Elementary School, serving about 290 students from early learning and kindergarten through Grade 6.
